Activities After Total Knee or Hip Replacement
What Doctors’ Do and Don’t Allow After TKA or THA
A recent Dutch study (which also took into account American and German studies) cataloged the leisure-time physical activities most physicians find allowable and helpful for patients who have had total hip or knee replacement surgery. The study concluded that about half of the patients did not meet the health-enhancing activity requirements that physicians recommend.
Activities recommended for those under and over age 65.
